I played baseball at the University of Toledo from 2017 to 2020, but my journey took a pivotal turn during my junior season when I suffered an injury. This setback led me to step away from the field, where I focused on supporting my teammates and honing my skills in a different capacity. It was during this period that I discovered my passion for leadership and coaching, dedicating myself to making an impact in the role I was in. My love for coaching began here, but my teaching journey started even earlier—I’ve been giving private lessons for the past ten years, a passion sparked during my high school years when I first experienced the joy of helping others grow in the game.

 

After my playing days, I transitioned to a role as a student assistant coach at the University of Toledo. During this time, I had the privilege of contributing to some of the program's key achievements: we recorded the third-most wins in school history, set a new home run record in 2023, and helped develop two MAC Players of the Year, both of whom were drafted—Chris Meyers by the Detroit Tigers in 2021 and Jeron Williams by the Houston Astros in 2023. In 2024, I joined the Miami Marlins organization as a hitting coach, spending the past year in the Dominican Republic, where I worked closely with our international players. As I look forward, I’m excited to see where this journey in coaching will take me next, with the same passion for teaching and developing athletes that has driven me from the start.
